What really happened to Pride Piper Inc?
Here are the facts my competitor may not want you to know.
The original Pride Piper Inc was located at 74-053 Highway 111 (the corner of Portola and Highway 111) in Palm Desert. Pride Piper Inc was in business for over 10 years and had an outstanding reputation for their service and repair work. Pride Piper Inc performed warranty work for major grill and patio heater manufactures including Lynx Professional Grills, AEI Corporation, and Weber.
Pride Piper Inc went out of business, for good, in December of 2009, due to lack of business. My compeitor was quick to purchase the name Pride Piper, but he did not purchase the business. It is a matter of public record that Lynx Professional Grills filed a law suit because they thought that my competitor had purchased the business. When my competitor showed proof that he had just purchased the name, the law suit was dropped. My competitor re-opened the original Pride Piper Inc location.
My competitor is at it again, now he has purchased the name Desert Fireplaces and BBQ, which went out of business.
There were three service techs employed by Pride Piper Inc, including myself, before it went out of business. My fellow service techs had employment opportunities with my competitor and, at the time, choose to no longer do service and repair work. I choose to go into business for myself.
